Beginning in 1979 two distinguishable types of comics were sold, corresponding to two distinct distribution channels. Starting in 1990 is when the curve of Newsstand and Direct make a huge drop. The Curve of Newsstand drops to 15% and Direct is 85% for direct sales. As time goes on Newsstand drops and eventually is taking out altogether in or around 2013.
